Jessica and Tim had a beautiful wedding at St. Francis of Assisi in downtown Bend, then moved to Sunriver Resort for a gorgeous reception.

Experimenting with Textures...

After the WPPI Conference this year, I wanted to experiment a bit with textures overlaid on images. It has a really interesting fine art look to it. This is my first attempt.

A Leap Day Wedding in Sunriver

I had the opportunity to photograph an intimate family wedding at a beautiful Sunriver residence this past leap day. Drew and Stephanie committed their lives to eachother in front of their closest family and friends. Here are some of their images.

Heather and Brandon, January 26th, 2008

First wedding of the year! Very sweet couple from Albany getting married in the Fireside Room at the Great Lodge. It was a cold snowy day, but Heather and Brandon were real troopers and we had a great time taking some outdoor, snowy pictures in the beautiful location.

Mallory, Efren, Canyon and little Harper

Fun family portrait with my sister, her husband and their two little boys. A chilly day, but we had fun at Sawyer Park! Then back at the house, we did some fun studio shots of the boys. So cute!

This Thanksgiving, Mike and I went to Lake Tahoe to visit with his family. There was no snow to be found at Tahoe this year except for in the peaks of the Sierra Nevadas. Mike and I took a ten mile hike and walk off some of the turkey dinner and got so see some gorgeous countryside.

Saving Grace

I recently had the pleasure to volunteer my photography for the "Groovy 70's" gala event for Central Oregon Battery and Rape Alliance (COBRA). At their 30th Anniversary providing safe haven for Central Oregonians suffering from domestic violence, COBRA launched a new name: Saving Grace. To view and order images from this event click here. Bend Farmer's Market

Wandering down to Drake Park last Wednesday afternoon with my new lens, I caught a couple of pics of life in Bend. In spite of the dizzying development and growth, on afternoons like this, it still feels like small town Bend from not so long ago!

Meadow Camp

Sunny and I went to Meadow Camp this evening to toss the stick and commune with nature for a bit. This goofy lab will hurl herself with reckless abandon into the river after a tossed stick as many times as you can throw it.

Sunny Grows Up

Our puppy, Sunny is really growing fast. From a little 8 pound 6 week old puppy, she has sprouted into a full grown 60 pound Lab. Always happy, sometimes sleepy and definately taking up most of the bed. Oh well, we love her anyway!

Jason and Dwan

Wedding season 2007 started with Jason and Dwan's wedding on Saturday June 3rd at the Spiritual Awareness Center in Bend. They are a fun couple with a lot of character and fun friends. I really enjoyed being a part of their day!

Costa Rica 2007

How do I sum up such a fantastic trip? From natural hotsprings on my 30th birthday, pina coladas at sunset, to ziplining through the cloud forest, to snorkeling in the ocean, to hiking by beautiful waterfalls and GETTING ENGAGED!!!! Really, the trip of a lifetime.

After working for Gusto for several issues, I made the cover with a fun shot from Bend Distillery's swanky new bar in the Old Mill District in Bend, Oregon.

My photography business is really starting to take off now and I can't wait to see what is coming next!!

Margaritas, Anyone?

Fun lunch time shoot at El Rancho Grande in the Cascade Village Shopping Center. This refreshing margarita caught my eye as the winter sun flooded through the window. I can highly recommend the chicken fajitas!
