I MADE THE COVER OF GUSTO MAGAZINE!!!!

After working for Gusto for several issues, I made the cover with a fun shot from Bend Distillery's swanky new bar in the Old Mill District in Bend, Oregon.

My photography business is really starting to take off now and I can't wait to see what is coming next!!

Margaritas, Anyone?

Fun lunch time shoot at El Rancho Grande in the Cascade Village Shopping Center. This refreshing margarita caught my eye as the winter sun flooded through the window. I can highly recommend the chicken fajitas!

This afternoon I met Mikayla at Shevlin Park for her Senior Pictures. The light was beautiful and the air definately felt like fall! These are my favorites from Mikayla's shoot.

I met with Kristyn and her mom for Senior Portraits last Sunday at Tumalo State Park. Kristyn did such a great job getting her picture taken - I really got some beautiful shots!

Nate and Brenda

Lovely summer eveing at Aspen Hall! The dresses, the flowers and the cake was divine. The bride, Brenda works at Donner Flower Shop and did all her own flower work! She did an amazing job!!!!

Lark Gardens

This has to to be one of my favorite shoots for Bend Living so far! I drove out to the Lark Gardens last Saturday and met with the owners, Lita and Roy. I walked into a beautiful kitchen with herbs spread out over the huge wooden block table filling the center of the room. The smells of rosemary, basil, and thyme were so fragrant, it was making me drool from hunger!!! Lita and Bernie, the lady who makes all the vinegars, showed me the process they use to make their gourmet brand that is marketed nationally now. Then Lita herself gave me a tour around their grounds and her personal art studio. It was a lovely afternoon and I inspired by all the creativity in their lives. Broken Top's Youngest Golf Champ
I was hired this year by Broken Top Club to take photos of all the champions of their most recent golf tournament (Aug 06). Here is the champion of the junior tournament. Pro-Golf in her future??...

Rodeo Queen
I got a call the other day from someone that had been referred to me by a makeup artist I know, Michelle. A rodeo queen applicant needed some photos for her application to be the 2007 Rodeo Queen! Of course I accepted - how fun!! Here is my favorite photos from the shoot.

This was one of my favorite weddings so far! I was so touched by the ceremony that joined two amazing people. With all their friends and family gathered in an intimate semi-circle around the chuppah, Ari and Lisa exchanged the most original and beautiful vows I have ever heard. Also, their cousin read an amazing passage from Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet" on mariage that will always stand out to me.

Fred and Elsie

Fun French wedding on the coast of Normandy in a tiny fishing village. The bride and groom were married in the same 1,000 year old church as the bride's great-grandparents. French weddings are a bit different than American in that they only have adult two witnesses and the rest of the wedding party is all children!
